Harry Connick, Jr., musician and lyricist for the Christmas hit play, “The Happy Elf,” will be working with PYT for their upcoming production.

Yesterday, Mon., September 24th, Harry Connick, Jr. visited the Christmas City to meet with the Pennsylvania Youth Theatre (PYT) and the media to discuss the local production of his Christmas play, “The Happy Elf.” Mr. Connick, Jr. will be working with PYT to tailor the fun, family-friendly play for a larger cast, as PYT has slotted about 75 actors and actresses of a variety of ages to perform in the season premier. Sahl Communications, Inc. is proud to be a sponsor of the non-profit performing arts organization’s new season, and enjoyed welcoming Mr. Connick, Jr. to the city of Bethlehem, Pa.

“The Happy Elf,” a Christmas play with music and lyrics by Harry Connick Jr., will be performed by PYT Nov. 30-Dec. 16, 2012.

It was an exciting day, full of buzzing, interacting, and positive energy. Mr. Connick, Jr. demonstrated an admirable appreciation for PYT’s mission and plans for The Happy Elf production, as well as a passion for reaching out to youth through the arts. He is definitely supportive of the cause.

We all look forward to the future events and collaborations.
